Virtues of the New Samurai Code

I was just working on the virtues of the New Samurai Code, and I wrote this section (far from print-ready), but I think I’m discovering it’s important to keep my sense of humor.

Courage – The Samurai was trained to be a warrior in support of his master (and eventually the emperor) against enemies both internal and external. He was expected to uphold the virtues of his office (even at personal expense), and to die in protecting his people if need be. Failing that, he was expected to take his own life to redeem his honor and the honor of his house. You thought dieting for a week was hard? What if you had to kill yourself if you had a HoHo?
